I have known and worked directly and indirectly with Atha for over a decade. He excels in everything he does, achieving record-breaking scores from the Rainforest Alliance and receiving praise for the speed and thoroughness of implementing the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability during his time at Malawi Mangoes. I can honestly say he is the most dedicated, knowledgeable, humble and professional person in his field I have had the pleasure to have met.

Atha's contribution to the development of SAI Platform's FSA programme, particularly the on-farm sustainable agriculture questionnaire, has been extraordinary. The pace and quality in which he works and the level of experience he brings in terms of sustainable farming globally are second to none.

I have known and worked with Atha for nearly 15 years. Suffice it to say that in the areas of food technology, sustainability compliance and quality management, I have never worked or come across anyone with both a greater command of his subject or ability to execute related workstreams, even in (and perhaps especially in) emerging market doing business environments where such concepts are often extremely new for producers and suppliers alike. But, much more than that, he has always been a great addition to any management conversation, topic or endeavour - he is quite simply one of the best people I have ever worked with and whenever there is an opportunity to expose him to clients and stakeholders I couldn’t be more proud to do so.

Atha has been a valuable member of the FSA 3.0 Guidance Committee and played a key role in the three-year long development of FSA 3.0. As Chair of the Systems Working Group, he and his peers created the foundation for the total overhaul of the FSA questionnaire. Also, they played a pivotal role in developing the priority screening tool. It was a pleasure to work together with him.
